The Number Twelve Looks Like You

THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU

The Number Twelve Looks Like You (TNTLLY) is a prominent American mathcore and post-hardcore band formed in Bergen County, New Jersey, in 2001. Known for their chaotic genre-blending—mixing grindcore, jazz, and funk—the band originally took their name from a classic episode of The Twilight Zone.

The band's intense musical style features rapid tempo shifts, aggressive screams, and complex, unpredictable time signatures. Following their debut EP, Put on Your Rosy Red Glasses (2003), they signed with Eyeball Records and built a dedicated global following with critically acclaimed albums like Nuclear. Sad. Nuclear. (2005) and Mongrel (2007). After an indefinite hiatus in 2010, the band officially reunited in 2016 and released Wild Gods, in 2019.

After a 5-year gap, the band returned in 2024 with "Eyes on the Fireworks". The politically charged single signaled a new chapter - one of personal growth, sonic evolution, and undiminished intensity. With a new album on Equal Vision Records slated for later in 2026, The Number Twelve Looks Like You continues to prove that chaos and precision, brutality and beauty, can coexist in the same breath.
