I Promised the World is an American metalcore and pop screamo band from Denton, Texas. Originally formed in 2020 under the name Sw!tch (and later Sinema), the group signed with prominent metal label Rise Records in late 2025. They are widely recognized as a key player in the mid-2020s revival of early 2000s post-hardcore and "Risecore" aesthetics.

Car Underwater is a prominent, newly formed Los Angeles emo and post-hardcore supergroup. The band stands out for its high-profile lineup of established alternative musicians, pulling heavy inspiration from mid-2000s emotional post-hardcore. Interestingly, their band name is a direct nod to the iconic 2005 song "Car Underwater" by the alternative rock band Armor for Sleep.
