Rusty Santos

A solo artist from California with an approach that blends experimental textures, psychedelic influences, electronic elements, and indie pop sensibilities.
Rusty Santos’ solo music belongs to a different timeline, one where music moves at its own speed, and musicians stand out in contrast to their scene. Metaphysical lyrics and psych folk textures are at the heart of his sound, yet the mood is darker. His music layers acoustic guitar, synthesizer, and percussion through effect pedals, fuzzy electric bass, and guitar. The presentation of these elements marks a departure point. He performs in alternate tunings, utilizing frequencies that sound unfamiliar. The sound might seem familiar because Santos has worked on seminal albums by trailblazers such as Animal Collective, Panda Bear, Weyes Blood, Black Dice, Dawn of Midi, Owen Pallett, Beach House, Dirty Projectors, and more.

Seattle based 3 piece.
Loud. Honest. Rough around the edges in all the right ways. This band isn’t chasing trends — we’re bleeding out songs that sound like they mean something. Grunge, post-whatever, noise, melody — it’s all in there. Built from late nights, burned-out gear, and whatever was left in the tank.
It’s not just music. It’s a moving target. Live sets hit like a wall. The content hits just as hard — reels, photos, short films — all self-made, all part of the same world. No middlemen. No gloss. Just a crew making what they want to see and hear.
There’s a storm coming — not polished, not pretty — but real. You’ll feel it in your chest or you won’t feel it at all.
