PRIMER 55

Primer 55 is an American nu metal and rap metal band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1997. Co-founded by guitarist Bobby Burns and the late vocalist Jason "J-Sin" Luttrell, the band became a staple of the late-90s and early-2000s nu metal boom. Their unique name combines "Primer" (meaning something unfinished) and "55" in reference to Interstate 55, known regionally as a major drug trafficking route. The band is currently active and touring, having officially reunited to celebrate the legacy of their early music and late frontman.
