ANVIL - Pounding the Past 2026

ANVIL
Anvil is an influential Canadian heavy metal band formed in Toronto in 1978. Often cited as the "unluckiest band in rock," they were early pioneers of speed metal and thrash metal, directly influencing major acts like Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax, even though they spent decades in relative obscurity.
The band's career was famously revitalized by the 2008 documentary Anvil! The Story of Anvil. The film, which follows founding members Steve "Lips" Kudlow and Robb Reiner as they work day jobs while refusing to give up on their musical dreams, became a critical hit and led to a "second renaissance" for the band.

MIDNITE HELLION
Midnite Hellion is a New Jersey-based heavy metal band known for their "time traveling" sound that blends classic NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) with aggressive thrash and doom elements. Formed in 2011 by drummer Drew Rizzo, the group has become a fixture in the modern traditional metal scene through relentless touring and chart-topping radio releases.
