Aethereus
Aethereus is a death metal band from Tacoma that plays an intense amalgam of brutal, melodic, and technical death metal. Enough said. Check out our music, become fans, see us live, and spread the word.
Increate
Increate is an instrumental progressive metal band hailing from Portland, Oregon USA. The band is heavily influenced by the author H.P. Lovecraft and the natural regions of the Pacific Northwest. Their music is influenced by bands such as Meshuggah, Animals As Leaders, Fallujah, and Cynic.

The band began in 2013 when two 8 string guitarists, Sean Chiodo and Dustin Behm decided to form a progressive, technical metal band. Drummer Johannes Jans moved to Portland from Chicago and the core of Increate was formed. In 2014 and 2015 Increate played shows as a technical death metal outfit with a vocalist, sharing the stage with bands such as Oceano, I declare War, The Kennedy Veil, and Disentomb.

In early 2016 Increate went instrumental, adding more progressive elements while their technical death metal roots brought a heaviness rarely heard in Instrumental music. Zev Levine joined on bass and the Increate lineup was complete. Increate played many shows around the Northwest, sharing the stage with bands such as Archspire, Dark Tranquility, Vale of Pnath, Singularity, Inanimate Existence, and Arkaik. The band went into the studio in mid 2016 to work on their first album titled “Void”.

An instrumental journey through Lovecraftian space, Void is darkly progressive, featuring odd time signatures and polyrhythms. Void is heavy, syncopated, dissonant, and unique.

Drums were tracked at Wavelength studios in Salem, Oregon. Renowned Swedish metal producer Jocke Skog handled reamping, mixing and mastering duties. Virtuoso guitarists Julian Cifuentes and Gianluca Ferro are featured guest soloists.

2017 marks the release of Increate’s debut album Void, as the band writes new material and continues to bring their unique Lovecraftian progressive metal sound to live audiences.
