Neutralboy
Neutralboy
NEUTRALBOY, fifteen years and running strong. No props, no gimmicks, and no changing music and fashion with every fad to blow in the wind. NEUTRALBOY has powered through Hair Metal, Grunge, Alternative Rock, Ska, Pop Punk, Techno, Stoner Rock, Alternative Country, Emo, Screamo, Indy Rock and every other music trend to come their way. Since 1992, this three chord punk band has been playing songs that address usual everyday life issues, such as casual sex, hard drugs, and living on the streets. Like the band, sex only gets better with time, and the streets.... well... they never change. Just as there will always be some hustle going down, there will always be NEUTRALBOY. Along with life, death, kicking drugs, career choices, and jail time,NEUTRALBOY has seen several members come and go over the years. But,just as life will throw ben wa balls of uncertainty, there are two things for NEUTRALBOY that will never change-- Mandy and Mike. In 2006, the stench of NEUTRALBOY is at its finest, with our newest member hal 9000(STOLI & THE BEERS) on drums, Anton Reader(HEARTS DIVIDED) on lead guitar/vocals, Mandy Reed(HELL'S BELLES) on bass/vocals,and Michael Frottage(THE ENEMIES OF...) on vocals/guitar. NEUTRALBOY is not about dreams of rock stardom. Its not about getting rich either. Its about traveling and doing what comes natural. Like hitting on boys and girls in smoke filled bars, drinking cheap booze, nursing cheese pizza and, of course, SEX! All paid in full with three chords. NEUTRALBOY, their roadie from hell Metal and their chief driver Indian Jim are on the loose and gunning for your town. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

The Pop Cycle
The Pop Cycle is a brand spankin' shiny new Seattle area power pop trio featuring Brett Richards on Guitar, Paul Swegle on drums and Jim Freeman on bass. We play a mix of originals and covers drawn from several decades of the power pop genre, including songs by Big Star, The Who, The Records, The Kinks, Cheap Trick, Beatles, etc. - the list goes on and on and on. Our main goal with the Pop Cycle is to have a heck of a lot of fun, rock hard, and celebrate the music that means something to us. While Brett handles the lion's share of the lead vocals for the group, the rest of us always have his back with harmonies and might even sing lead on a tune or two ourselves. Brett came to the great NW from Atlanta about a decade ago after a long tenure as the lead guitar player for the critically acclaimed Hanging Francis. Since that time he's kicked it locally with his own StarChief , plus Harvest (a northwest tribute to Neil Young), and most recently with Jim in All Mixed Up, a casino/summer festival 80's cover band. Michael Collins comes to Seattle via St. Louis where, he cut his teeth in the local 90's Midwestern alt-rock scene with various bands, most notably with regional faves, The Finns. In addition to All Mixed Up, Jim has been performing in and all around Seattle with a variety of local groups over the years, including The Seamonkees, '63 Burnout, and The Wild Snohomians.
