After signing with Jive Records the following year, Carter released his next album, "Aaron's Party" in 2000, which was an instant success and went triple platinum selling more than 3 million copies. Nikki's Wives
After living through years of excess and infatuation, it's all too fitting that Nikki's Wives should find inspiration

for their debut EP in the form of a powerful obsession. Locking themselves away on a month-long creative

binge, Nikki's Wives has resurfaced with For E•V•E•R, the first six songs from the Toronto alt-pop group.

"Lyrically, we really wanted to indulge," Nikki admits, "We took some difficult emotions like jealousy and lust,

and tried to gloss them up – make them feel seductive." This isolation shaped a collection of songs that

disguise their depth as instant gratification, but reveal a deeper meaning after the high wears off. Mixed by

Matty Green (The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran), and produced by Alastair Sims (Walk Off The Earth,

Rush, Three Days Grace), For E•V•E•R is a pop-inspired experiment featuring Nikki Whitehead's smoky vocal

style floating over vintage synths and faux brass.

Nikki's Wives are no strangers to the recording process, starting her career as a solo artist, Nikki Whitehead

has been in and out of studios since she was 12 years old. "The studio is sort of like a second home to me,"

she reflects. The introduction of Dylan Lauzon and Nate Baylor to the group would be transformative, after

struggling for years to find collaborators that shared her aesthetic vision. The three instantly fed off each other's

creative energies, and decided to redefine the project to reflect this radiant spirit.

Following several high-profile TV appearances on Fox News and NBC, performances at the two Leather &

Lace Superbowl parties, and 5 showcases at SXSW, Nikki's Wives are on the verge of a banner year. With

their newest effort, the group is set to take fans to the limits of infatuation, only to reveal the bittersweet truth

that lies beneath.
Stay Tuned
In an internet age where information is coming to us at light speed, how does one bridge the gap between real life and our pixelated version? Stay Tuned to find out.
One of the few live acts to successfully marry the concept of Audio and Visual -
and quite possibly the only live Hip-Hop act to do so - Stay Tuned was the most
fitting name for the outfit, based initially on their love for all
"sub-genres" of Hip-Hop and music as a whole, and the influence those
styles have had on them. This was first reflected in the recorded music made,
taking Boom-Bap, Dubstep/Electro, Hardcore, Downtempo...righteously, whatever moved them at the moment, and crafting live sets as such. Boston MC, Akrobatik pointed out to the duo that he admired how they'd bounce around sonically in their live sets, which was also metaphoric for the ups and downs that were faced in the industry itself. The light bulb flashed. MC Mane Rok figured
"Stay Tuned" would perfectly describe the musical path taken-of which
grew when the live set coupled itself with the visual portion, leaving the
group's then DJ-DeeJay Tense- as the program director controlling a live video
feed with his turntables. This continued to grow and began to come full circle,
influencing how overall ideas and themes for albums came to fruition. The first
being the fictional story of a serial killer (with an underlying theme
questioning media practices) in the form of "Murder He Wrote: A Love
The Stay Tuned moniker would allow the group to have interchangeable parts. Akin to the idea of channel surfing, letting them invite special guest performers,
making each show unique. The channel surfing idea has now come to full bloom in their self titled EP released 1/24/15 (simply take a listen to understand),
which was also the official introduction of the groups new DJ, DJ AWHAT!!
(formerly of The Pirate Signal,) and the change itself begs the listener
to...well...Stay Tuned.
Amanda Markley
AMANDA MARKLEY is a pop singer/songwriter hailing from Seattle, WA. Following a life-altering spinal injury that caused her to pull back from her passion of horseback riding, Amanda learned to cope by writing her emotions in a journal. Her writing became inspiration for her new passion in music and the lyrics of her first songs. Now, able to ride horses again, Amanda Markley is strives to inspire and give others courage to follow their own dreams - a passion you will find intertwined in many of her own lyrics.

Early in her career, Amanda's debut single original song "Breathe," was heard by acclaimed songwriter Scott Krippayne, who has penned No.1 hits for Jordan Sparks, Demi Lovato, and Blake Lewis, to name a few. Krippayne was so intrigued by Amanda's soulful songwriting, he produced her first album, as well as co-wrote a song titled "You and Me" on her debut album, also titled Breathe.

In 2013, Amanda Markley was chosen from Ernie Ball's Battle of the Bands to play Van's Warped Tour on the Acoustic Basement stage in Seattle. The starlet has shared the stage with artists such as Aaron Carter, Tyler Ward, William Beckett, and more. Captivated by the local coffee house vibe of the Pacific Northwest, the singer often plays vocally rich and emotionally raw acoustic sets. When not performing in an intimate setting, Amanda rocks the stage with a full band and is a regular performer El Corazon, Chop Suey, the Hard Rock Cafe and other iconic music houses in the Seattle area.

Amanda Markley embarked on her first summer tour in 2014 that took her up the West Coast, gaining many new fans and friends along the way. Amanda will be heading out on another tour this summer to celebrate the release of the first single off her newest EP, set to release in Fall 2015. Markley teamed up with Chase Manhattan of Washington alt/pop band, Night Argent to collaborate on and produce the EP at Rainmaker Studios in Pasco, WA.

2013 was a breakout year for Markley, who just turned 20. Chosen from Ernie Ball's Battle of the Bands to play Van's Warped Tour '13 in Seattle on the Acoustic Basement stage, she shared the stage with tremendous artists such as William Beckett, Owen Plant and Brian Marquis. Immediately after her Seattle performance she was asked to travel to the Las Vegas portion of Van's Warped Tour for an exclusive interview and performance with a major sponsor of the Tour, Zing Revolution. During the same time NBC's The Voice called to invite her for a private audition.

Her CD "Breathe" was produced by the very talented Scott Krippayne (15 #1 hits recorded by Jordin Sparks, Demi Lovato, Kutless to name a few) who also co-wrote the track "You and Me". Full of inspiration, borne out of her personal struggles with anxiety disorder and panic attacks, the album is about finding your purpose, trying to believe in yourself and not giving up, no matter what the odds are.

Amanda's newest EP, Monster manages to captivate with a flurry of emotionally-charged tracks, which equals three amazing new songs Markley can now add to her catalogue. One things for certain, Markley is far from a one hit wonder.

Amanda is lighting it up in the Seattle music scene, recently sharing billing with Charlotte Sometimes, Kady Z and Aaron Carter and Tyler Ward, to name a few.
Her songs are being played on Pandora, Sirius Radio Coffee Café, several on line radio stations in California and the UK.

Passionate about helping others, especially young teens, she has donated her time to the " Sing It Forward" scholarship program for the arts, has choreographed a Summer Theater Children's Ensemble and works part time at the YMCA's Teen Union Building, a resource facility for the arts and music, giving teens a positive supportive environment to make a difference.

She is currently collaborating with some talented singer-songwriters to finish a full length CD by year's end. You can purchase her music on i-tunes, Amazon.com and most on-line distributors
