HOW CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS?

Tickets now available at See Tickets! Online at www.elcorazonseattle.com. Tickets are subject to a service charge.

IS THE FUNHOUSE / EL CORAZON AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE EVENTS, AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The Funhouse and El Corazon host private events of all types on a regular basis. For an estimate please email info@elcorazonseattle.com.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Parking is available in front of the club and on surrounding streets. Two pay-to-park lots are located one block NW of the club as well.

WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT AT THE FUNHOUSE / EL CORAZON?

We do 21+ shows as well as All Ages (Bar W/ID) shows – each show listing clearly notes the age restrictions.

DOES 21+ MEAN I CANNOT BRING MY CHILD/FRIEND’S CHILD/SIBLING/GUEST THAT IS UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE TO A SHOW UNDER MY SUPERVISION?

We do not allow patrons under 21 years of age regardless of supervision for our 21+ events.

WHAT IS YOUR ID POLICY FOR ENTERING THE BAR AREAS?

According to Washington State law, only patrons age 21 or older may enter alcohol service areas at the venue. The only acceptable forms of identification for proof of age are:

  • Driver’s License from any US State or Province of Canada
  • Identification Card from any US State or Providence of Canada
  • US Military Active Service or Dependent ID
  • Merchant Marine Card
  • Official International Passport issued by any nation
  • Current Temporary WA State Driver’s License or ID card
  • Current federally-recognized WA State Tribal ID (currently: Nisqually, Suquamish, Puyallup, Snoqualmie, Nooksack, Chehalis, Muckleshoot, Tulalip

Please note that all IDs must show date of birth, signature (except military IDs), photograph of bearer, and expiration date. If any information on the ID is missing or obscured for any reason, it is invalid. Permanent resident cards and ID cards issued by US Territories do not fall under the categories above and are not considered valid.

IF I LEFT MY TAB OPEN, WHAT DO I DO?

Any tabs left open overnight can be picked up the next time the club is open. 20% gratuity is automatically added to open tabs. For information on door times please call 206-262-0482 or visit www.elcorazonseattle.com.

CAN I SMOKE AT THE FUNHOUSE / EL CORAZON?

There is no smoking permitted inside the club (this includes electronic cigarettes and vaporizing devices), however we have a large smoking area easily accessible to the North of our entrance.

DO YOU HAVE SEATING AVAILABLE?

The Funhouse and El Corazon are typically “standing room only” venues unless specifically noted otherwise. There are a limited number of booths, tables and chairs that are available on a first come, first served basis.

DO YOU HAVE A LOST AND FOUND?

We do our best to retain any items left behind for a reasonable period of time. If you believe you have left an item with us, please email info@elcorazonseattle.com or call 206-262-0482 and leave us a message detailing the item and a way for us to reach you.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Our tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If a show is cancelled or postponed there will be specific instructions given to receive a refund. If you have questions about this policy you can contact See Tickets online.

I BOUGHT A TICKET AND CAN NO LONGER ATTEND THE SHOW. CAN I SWITCH THE TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE’S NAME?

If purchased from Eventbrite or See Tickets, this may be possible. you’ll need to reach out them directly.

IS THERE RE-ENTRY ALLOWED AT THE FUNHOUSE / EL CORAZON?

We do not allow re-entry for patrons under the age of 21. Re-entry is permitted for patrons over the age of 21.

WHAT ARE SOME OPTIONS FOR GETTING TO AND FROM THE SHOW IF I DON’T WANT TO DRIVE?

Download Uber or Lyft on your smartphone to get around Seattle with ease. We also have a bus stop across the street.

IF I AM IN A WHEELCHAIR OR HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS, CAN I STILL ATTEND THE SHOW?

Of course! Please call ahead to 206-262-0482 or email info@elcorazonseattle.com so we can make arrangements.

CAN YOU RECOMMEND A HOTEL FOR VISITORS?

There is a list of recommended hotels on our website.

I WANT TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE SHOW, MAY I BRING MY CAMERA?

Photo policy is determined the day of show. Each band has their own policy. If photos are NOT allowed, you will be asked to either check your camera or put it in your car. Cell phone cameras are permitted, however flash of any kind is prohibited at all times.

DO YOU HAVE AN EMAIL LIST I CAN SUBSCRIBE TO?

DO YOU HAVE A COAT CHECK?

Coat check is usually open during all ages shows through the soda bar. It is $2 to check a coat or bag.

WHAT TIME DOES THE SHOW START?

Show times vary — please check our calendar at www.elcorazonseattle.com for specific show times.

WHAT ARE THE FUNHOUSE / EL CORAZON BOX OFFICE HOURS?

We are currently only open for events. If you have any questions, please call us before coming down to see if we are open. 206-262-0482

IS THERE A SERVICE CHARGE ON TICKETS PURCHASED AT THE FUNHOUSE / EL CORAZON BOX OFFICE?

There is a $2 service charge per ticket on all tickets purchased at our box office.

DO YOU TAKE PHONE ORDERS FOR TICKETS?

Our box office does not accept phone orders.

WHAT TIME DO THE GUEST LISTS AND WILL CALL BECOME AVAILABLE FOR A SHOW?

Will call and guest list tickets will be available at the entrance when the doors open for the show – if you have questions regarding either of these lists please call prior to 6pm Monday-Friday.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK TO A SHOW?

No outside food or drink is allowed into the Funhouse or El Corazon.

IS AUDIO RECORDING PERMITTED?

Our recording policy is determined by the artist each evening. Please call or ask our staff before entering with your recording equipment.

MY FAVORITE ARTISTS’ WEBSITE SAYS THEY’RE SCHEDULED TO PLAY AT THE FUNHOUSE OR EL CORAZON, BUT THERE’S NO MENTION OF IT ON YOUR WEBSITE. WHAT GIVES?

Our policy is to not list shows on our website until the shows are officially ON SALE, sometimes artists and venues get ahead of the other, just be patient. If the show is scheduled to happen, it will be on our website when tickets go on sale.

I PLACED MY ORDER THROUGH EVENTBRITE OR SEE TICKETS TO PICK UP TICKETS AT WILL CALL. WHEN IS THE EARLIEST I CAN PICK THESE UP?

Will call is available at the main entrance once doors open prior to the show time itself.

LOOKING AT MY TICKETS, I SEE A ROW AND SEAT NUMBERS. DOES THIS MEAN THE SHOW IS RESERVED SEATING?

Unless otherwise noted on the artists’ page all shows at the Funhouse and El Corazon are general admission. Tickets will have rows and seat numbers printed on them *but* general admission events will be printed on the ticket (near the top) GEN ADMISSION or GA.

A SHOW I BOUGHT TICKETS FOR HAS CANCELLED. WHERE CAN I GET A REFUND?

Please note cancelled shows do sometimes happen (and sometimes at the very last minute). It is difficult to pass the word on about a show cancellation, but when these situations arise — we post them on our website (and Twitter/Facebook). So it is good a good idea to keep an eye open on these outlets, just in case. Refunds for cancelled events are available at point of purchase.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

The Funhouse / El Corazon takes cash and all major credit cards. Checks will not be accepted as payment.

DOES THE VENUE HAVE EMERGENCY LIGHTING AND/OR A SPRINKLER SYSTEM?

The Funhouse / El Corazon is fully equipped with an emergency lighting and sprinkler system, should an emergency take place.

ARE THERE PARAMEDICS ON STAFF?

Paramedics are staffed on a show-by-show basis and are thus not present at all shows. If you experience an emergency that requires medical attention please contact the closest security guard and they will help you with you needs.

DOES THE VENUE ALLOW PYROTECHNICS?

The Funhouse / El Corazon does not allow the use of pyrotechnics by any artist or patron at our facilities.

DO YOU HAVE A SECURITY STAFF ON HAND AND HOW CAN THEY ASSIST ME?

Security staff is provided and is located at all entrances and exits, and roaming within the venue to assist in maintaining order. If you have any questions or need assistance with a complication, please alert any of the security staff on site.

WHAT AM I NOT ALLOWED TO BRING INTO THE VENUE?

Prohibited items include: Plastic containers, sealed or unsealed (i.e. water bottles), thermoses, bota bags or wine skins, alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs, glass bottles or aluminum cans, laser pointers (will be confiscated and patron will be subject to ejection), any weapon or item construed as a weapon such as guns, knives, sticks, tasers, fireworks, or firearms, bullhorns or noise makers, backpacks, Sharpies or markers, animals (except certified guide dogs).

HOW LATE DO YOUR SHOWS RUN UNTIL?

End times vary but there is a hard curfew of 2:00 AM every night.

IS THERE AN ATM IN OR NEAR THE VENUE?

Yes — we have an ATM in the venue.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges unless a show is cancelled.

MY CHILD WANTS TO ATTEND AN ALL-AGES SHOW AT THE FUNHOUSE / EL CORAZON, BUT I FEEL NERVOUS?

We’ve been doing all-ages shows for many years, but the decision to let your son or daughter come to a show here is obviously up to you as a parent. We suggest attending a show with your child so you can get a first-hand experience of how we run the club and treat our patrons. We’re confident that once you’ve been here you’ll feel comfortable about allowing your child to come to shows here.

HOW ABOUT DRINKS?

We have bars located within the club offering a terrific selection of both draft and bottled beers along with your favorite spirits and non-alcoholic beverages.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

We ask that patrons please wear appropriate footwear to the event. Shoes are required for access to the venue.

I BOUGHT TICKETS THROUGH OTHER, SECONDARY MARKET SOURCES (I.E., “SCALPERS” ONLINE OR IN PERSON) – ARE MY TICKETS LEGIT?

We do not endorse using any secondary ticketing sources. Our Box Office cannot resolve any issues involving them, such as lost tickets or bogus tickets. Tickets for all of our shows are sold through See Tickets or in person at the Funhouse / El Corazon box office. Tickets are sometimes available through fan club sites as pre-sales or special VIP packages. The Funhouse / El Corazon has the right to cancel ticket transactions that are suspected of being purchased for the sole purpose of reselling.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

To ensure you get a good view, we suggest you arrive early! If a show is sold out, give yourself plenty of time to get checked in so you don’t miss anything! The earlier the better, without question.

WHERE DO I PICK UP WILL CALL TICKETS?

If you’ve purchased tickets in advance, your name will be on the will call list which can be found at the main entrance of the club once doors are open for the show. The purchaser must be present with valid I.D. in order to receive the tickets.

IS YOUR BAR OPEN WHEN THERE’S NOT A SHOW?

We are currently only open for scheduled events.

MY BAND WANTS TO PLAY AT THE FUNHOUSE / EL CORAZON OR OPEN FOR A LARGER CONCERT. HOW CAN I GO ABOUT ARRANGING THAT?

The Funhouse and El Corazon are large capacity venues and require that bands have a fan base in the Seattle-area prior to playing here. If your band can demonstrate the ability to draw people in our area, send an email to booking@elcorazonseattle.com with info about the artist, links to websites and social media pages, and a sample of music. We do our best to respond to all requests, so please allow some time before sending a second email.

CAN I BUY A BACKSTAGE PASS?

Backstage passes are not for sale and you should be wary of anyone attempting to sell you one.

IS EL CORAZÓN 21+ OR ALL AGES?

Both. El Corazon and The Funhouse is proud to be able to bring all ages music and events to the Seattle community. Please note that ALL of our shows are clearly labeled as either “All Ages” or “21 and over” on our calendar. During our all ages shows, the bar is still open, but only in a strictly separate area of the venue. We have a curfew (generally our all ages shows don’t run any later than 11:30pm), there are no in/outs for persons under 21 and there is heightened security.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC IS PERFORMED AT THE FUNHOUSE / EL CORAZON?

Mostly we are a rock venue. Rock N’ Roll. Punk Rock. Indie Rock. Hardcore. Metal. Sweater Rock. Emo. Math Rock. Experimental. Post Punk. Electroclash. You name it. We also dabble in electronic and hip hop, but we are always experimenting and expanding our horizons.

WHAT ARE MIKE THRASHER PRESENTS, TAKE WARNING PRESENTS, MUSICWERKS, ETC?

All of the names mentioned above are what’s known as “outside promoters.” They are various individuals or companies that book shows at various venues. Any queries pertaining to shows being held by any of these outside promoters that cannot be answered by the Funhouse / El Corazón (i.e. booking, ticket counts, etc…) should be directed to the individual production company.
